Miss Lizzy's Quest RETURNS!

Hello Clan!

Some EXCITING news today! Miss Lizzy’s Quest has finally returned! 

Many of our current members haven't been with us for more than 1 year, so you may not know of or have ever participated in a previous quest. Read on to find all the juicy details of what riches and rewards await should you gain Miss Lizzy’s favour ;) 

Previous quest rewards have been sponsored by members of our clan, and this one is no exception. Daman (Noah), tokhoi (Xu), and Dovid74 (David), have been generous enough to provide the monetary reward for this tournament, and this time, Miss Lizzy will also be providing a Not So Mystery Prize.

To make it fair for all members, the tournament will be divided by Town Hall level. This means you are only competing with other members of your own Town Hall level!!!

This quest is a slight variation of the very first quest we put on. If you want to see details of previous quests, they can be found under “Miss Lizzy’s Quest” tab on our blog menu. 

So, without further ado, here is the details for the tournament.  

To win the quest, you must submit to the leaders, a 3 star or 100% attack replay with as much loot overall as possible. You may submit as many replays as you want. The top two raids from each Town Hall category will receive prizes. 

A bonus opportunity is to use a “Hybrid” attack strategy, which will garner you a 1.1 multiplier (or +10%) for your over all loot. Hybrid strategies include but are not limited to goho, govalo, govaho, and golaloon. 

- your opponent must be at least silver and you must stay above 1000 trophies to compete

- final overall loot is calculated with total sum of gold, and elixir weighted the same, and dark elixir will receive a 156x multiplier.  Loot bonus from your league rank will not be counted. 

sample calculation for the screen shot below:

( Gold + Elixir + (Dark Elixir x 156) = Total LOOT ) x Hybrid multiplier of 1.1

for this raid it would be 270,225 + 387,618 + (2,687 x 156) = 1,077,015 

If this had been a done with a hybrid strat, then apply 1.1 multiplier to the total loot number. 

1,077,015 x 1.1 = 1,184,716.5 <---- Final amount 

In order to qualify, you must share the replay and ask one of the co-leaders to watch and verify, then submit it on your behalf. If you ARE a co-leader, you still must get another co-leader to verify for you.  

Only replays shared AFTER the start date will count towards the tournament. 

Competition starts on Thursday October 1st and runs till Monday October 12th @ 5:00 MDT.  Please take note that this is a 11 day period spanning two weekends. 

First place winner of each town hall category, will have their pick of either a 

$15 iTunes gift card or Google Play gift card to be used towards gems on clash of clans, 

OR, 

Miss Lizzy’s Not So Mystery Prize. 

Runner up will get which ever prize is left after the First place winner’s choice. 

Due to popular demand, The Not So Mystery Prize will be a Clash of Clans themed Pencil pouch, hand made by yours truly. I will update the blog with a picture of the prize before the final days of the contest so the contestants can make an educated decision. The prize will be mailed to you via snail mail so you will have to send me your mailing address but I assure you it will not be shared with random people.

Lizzy's Third Quest!

Hello Clan!

There have been some changes in our clan recently (please refer to clan rules) and for better or worse, I think a clan challenge aka Lizzy’s Quest should brighten up the mood and hopefully get us all back on the same track.

Dovid has been ever so generous as to sponsor this event so a great big thank you to Dovid!!!

It’s been so awesome that we have such wonderful people in our clan who are willing to dish out a bit of coin and help everyone get into our beloved game.

So far our past sponsors have been Ron, Tokhoi, and Yolo and now Dovid, so everyone please say your thank-you’s when you see them because it wouldn’t be possible for us to keep these contests going without their support. AND…… I’ve helped out here and there too so you can thank me aswell  ;-)

We are changing the rules a little bit for this challenge as to encourage more activity in our clan so please read them carefully.

1.       YOU MUST BE ELDER OR ABOVE TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE PRIZES OF THIS CHALLENGE

2.       If you are not elder, there’s still time to earn your eldership and then join in mid challenge.

3.       To participate, each player must submit two replays with the highest overall loot (gold, elixir, dark  elixir combined) in a 3 STAR ATTACK.

4.       The win for this contest will go to the player with the highest total of their two best attacks

5.       You must be a trophy rank of silver 2 and above for each of your submitted entries.

In order to qualify, you must share the replay and ask one of the co-leaders to watch and verify, then submit it on your behalf. If you ARE a co-leader, you still must get another co-leader to verify for you.

 Competition starts immediately and runs till Friday September 26, 2014 @ 5:00 MDT (basically until next war is declared) Please note war is canceled for Friday September 19.

First place winner will receive a $25 iTunes gift card or Google Play gift card to be used towards gems on clash of clans.  (courtesy of Dovid) 

OR you have the option to forego the monetary prize and choose a mystery prize instead. If you forego the gift card it will be used for the next challenge.

Runner up will receive a mystery prize.

The Mystery Prize is of course, a mystery. The only thing I can tell you is that it will be a Hand Made item by yours truly :) There is also no guarantees what so ever on this prize, it could be a ball of yarn, a hand written congratulatory note, or it could be something super awesome! The prize will be mailed to you via snail mail so you will have to send me your mailing address but I assure you it will not be shared with random people.

The Mystery prize will not be the same each time, but you can look back to see the previous mystery prize that was given.  It is also not guaranteed to be Clash of Clans themed.

Thank you everyone who took the time to vote! According to the 14 people who voted, we will be doing our next clan challenge very similar to our first one. Only difference is to take into account the troop housing space.

So, Here are the rules for the challenge:


To  qualify, a clan member must submit to the leader/co-leaders one replay - a three star raid with as much loot over all as possible with regards to troop housing space including clan castle and heros.

Barbarian king counts as extra 10 spacing plus lvl.
For example if your BK is lvl 5 he counts as an extra 15 troops.
if you use the BK ability you must also add the units spawned. For example at lvl 5 BK sqawns 3 extra units. so if you use BK lvl5 and ability he is worth extra 18 troop spacing.

Archer queen is worth 15 spacing plus lvl. calculated the same way.



The leader/co-leader must then watch to verify numbers and take a screen shot and post it to the blog. If you are the leader or a co-leader you must still get another person to verify for you.


The member with the highest over all loot / troop housing space used will win the contest and receive a $25 iTunes gift card - to be used towards gems on clash of clans - courtsey of the very generous YOLO

The member with the second highest entry will receive Lizzy's Mystery prize.

Great job CLAN on winning our 9th straight war!. So far we are undefeated so lets all keep up the awesome clan spirit!

On another note, Yolo has been kind enough to sponsor our Next clan challenge! but it seems there is a bit differences of opinion so we are putting up a poll to see how we should do the next challenge. Please vote for your favorite one by Friday June 12. We will start the challenge after next war.

Exciting news!. Miss Lizzy's Quest is finally here! (the support by other co-leaders and clan members has been overwhelming so we may rename this). After some discussion with our fellow clan members, we've hashed out the details for our very first Clan Challenge!.

So, without further ado, here is the clan challenge.

Quest anyone?

I have been toying with the idea of holding a competition of sorts for our clan to have some fun and pass the time. There might be a small prize involved if enough people are interested in participating. It's still in the works but I will be updating this page is any details get hashed out so check back often and let me know what you think in the clan chat :)
